“Transactions, Borders, Hybrids”

By contemplating her body of work, artist and filmmaker Salomé Lamas compels the audience to explore the presupposed limits of nonfiction cinema. In this workshop, cross-cutting themes present in projects of different length and that test the apparent boundaries between cinema and the visual arts are discussed; problematics around the representation of memory and narrative through images are explored, as well as fundamental, formal and technical practices of the moving image.
