Boca Associação Cultural is a non-profit organization founded in 2015 and based in Lisbon, Portugal. It develops multi- and transdisciplinary programming that promotes synergy between cities (from its activity in Lisbon it dialogues with other municipalities), artistic territories (performing arts, visual arts, music, cinema), cultural and natural spaces (theaters, museums, cultural centers, nature) and audiences (specialized and non-specialized).

Mission
To stimulate, produce and promote contemporary creation from a multi- and transdisciplinary perspective, crossing artistic territories (performing arts, visual arts, music, cinema), cultural institutions (cultural centers, theaters, museums) and audiences.

Objectives
- To contribute to the diversity and quality of the artistic offer, through partnerships and collaborations on different scales;
- Promote artistic research and experimentation, through synergies between artists and cultural institutions, focusing on experimentation and innovation;
- Promote the production of original works from a transdisciplinary perspective, crossing artistic fields, and intersectoral, crossing areas of knowledge (science, technology, environment), in a contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda;
- Encouraging the creation of new audiences, cultivating inclusive and accessible artistic exchange spaces where different audiences can interact;
- Encourage the education, training and participation of an intergenerational audience, both specialized and non-specialized, in partnership with cultural and educational institutions;
- Propose a critical reflection on contemporary creative processes and practices, relating them to other areas of public life;
- Promote citizenship, equality and inclusion, addressing pressing issues in contemporary society and ensuring their representativeness;
- Raise awareness of environmental sustainability issues from a sustainability perspective.
