Kirill Savchenkov
Kirill Savchenkov (b. 1987) works with various media including performance, installation, video and photography. His artistic practice appeal to the relationship between education, cultural conflicts, social space, construction of identity and knowledge in marginal communities and subcultures. Savchenkov lives and works in Moscow.
In 2016 Savchenkov has participated in «Power and Architecture» program of Calvert 22, London, with solo show «Museum of Skateboarding». In 2015 he has realized project Horizon Community Workshop in space of Agency of Singular Investigations (ASI) in CCI Fabrika, presented the «Museum of Skateboarding» project within the program «Expanding Space. Artistic practice in the urban environment» (V-A-C Foundation). Savchenkov has participated in «Metageography» (The State Tretyakov Gallery, 2015), Parallel Program of Manifesta 10 (Saint Petersburg, 2014), «Semiconductors» (Stella Art Foundation, 2014).
