Resident Artists

Every two years, BoCA invites you to an extended relationship with Resident Artists. These are artists from different generations, from different geographies, who work in multiple artistic territories and use different presentation formats, with whom we develop a long-term professional and emotional relationship.

BoCA produced its first theater creation, “Endgame”, based on Samuel Beckett, with scenic space and direction by Tania Bruguera.
A BoCA production, in co-production with Teatro Nacional São João (Porto), Kunstenfestival (Brussels), Nanterre-Amandiers (Paris), Festival d’Automne à Paris (Paris) and Kampgnagel (Hamburg).

With the Resident Artists, BoCA deepens relations of production and thought, getting to know and producing new creations by the artists from scratch, raising funding and partnerships for their projects, promoting the national and international circulation of their works, and establishing bridges between their artistic practices and academic contexts, through meetings and research projects.
