During this workshop, we will discuss issues surrounding the transmission of a piece from Mathilde Monnier’s repertoire. We will go through different writing processes related to this repertoire, which are also an opportunity to think about the notion of reinterpretation. In fact, it won’t consist of reproducing an identical piece of writing, but of interrogating the notions of re-appropriation through practices, exercises and scenic proposals.
This workshop will also be an opportunity to question the need to go through contemporary repertoires in order to better understand what is represented in time and how a piece of writing can cross (or not) an era.
