Documentary about “Máquina Atávica” by Jonathan Uliel Saldanha, which had its premiere at the BoCA Biennial 2021, in Lisbon’s Estufa Fria.
The project commissioned by BoCA crossed the action of a sound and light machine with the environment of a plant space (of human construction). Through the displacement of synthetic sounds and the projection of lights, relationships were created referring to natural phenomena, such as the movement of a flock of birds, exploring the tension between, on the one hand, an artificial construction and, on the other, those relationships suggestive of something organic or natural.
This is the 3rd in a series of 10 documentaries about 10 projects that were part of the 3rd edition of the BoCA Biennial.
