This example opens up a broader view of his artistic career, reflecting on the role of the conductor and artistic director in the dialog between work, performers and audience.    
 
                                                Biography
        Martim Sousa Tavares was born in Lisbon in 1991. With a degree in Musical Sciences and Orchestral Conducting, he has studied in Portugal, Italy and the United States and is currently studying for a PhD in Cultural Studies. Founder of the Orquestra Sem Fronteiras, with which he won the European Parliament’s Charlemagne Youth Prize, he is also artistic director of the Algarve Orchestra and the Sintra Festival. As well as being a conductor, he has been an active voice in the dissemination of classical music and at the crossroads of the arts. His work has taken in television, radio, podcasts, lectures and many other formats.
