Lisboa – Carpintarias de São Lázaro Biennial 2019 Music

Nídia is one of the voices of a generation that has been transforming the international contemporary electronic music scene from a community base. She made her debut in 2015 with “Danger,” while still signing as Nídia Minaj. Two years later, she released her first full-length album, “Nídia é Má, Nídia é Fudida,” on Príncipe. Along the way, she has DJed all over the world, co-produced tracks and remixed for peers such as Fever Ray and Kelela – even winning a Grammi in 2018 (the Swedish equivalent of the Grammys) – and finished high school in Bordeaux, where she lived as a teenager after spending her childhood in Vale da Amoreira.
