Nídia is one of the voices of a generation that has been transforming the international contemporary electronic music scene from a community basis. Her debut happened in 2015 with “Danger” as she still went by Nídia Minaj, and two years later released through Príncipe her first LP “Nídia é Má, Nídia é Fudida”. Throughout her path she’s performed as a DJ a little all over the world, co-produced tracks and wrote remixes for fellow contemporaries the likes of Fever Ray or Kelela – so far as to win a Gram- mi in 2018 (which is the Grammy equivalent in Sweden) – and finished high school in Bordeaux where she lived during her adolescence, after a childhood spent on Vale da Amoreira.
