The BoCA video library is a centre of documentation and visual history, open to the public, presenting the little known and scarcely documented recent past of the artists that are part of the BoCA programme.
Here, it is possible to glean an understanding of the aesthetics, conceptions, directions, interests, and artistic choices of a generation, in its social, political and economic context, as well as the intimate side the artists’ younger selves. The BoCA video library is able to offer this privileged access to video documentation and artists’ films – directors, choreographers, visuals artists, performers – thanks to the collaboration of the artists themselves, their producers, and private and public organisations that have graciously provided archival material.
