“Ode to the Attempt” is Jan Martens’ new solo for himself, which references the individualism and narcissism that characterises humans of our times. The result is a self-portrait in the form of a collage that reveals choreographies and Martens’ way of living and working.

Authenticity, manipulation, relaxation, perfectionism, humour, and melancholy are the extremes between which Martens moves, inviting the audience to look inside his head and computer.
