Diogo Evangelista’s (1984) multidisciplinary practice centres on the themes of desire and transformation, exploring the animalistic potential of the human imagination in its appropriation of concepts, images, and environments. The artist reflects on the status of the image and its potential as counter-culture. With appropriated and archival material, he produces non-linear narratives and speculative points-of-view on reality.

The exhibition “Espaços de Fluxos” takes as its central theme the human figure and explores ideas like invisibility and introspection. The project is configured as a living organism, where the artworks, most of which are presented here for the first time, create a unique environment that engulfs the audience in a total experience.
