Watch here the documentary about “Anjo Solidão” by Gabriel Ferrandini
Musician Gabriel Ferrandini created “Anjo Solidão”, a project commissioned by BoCA, presented at the Champalimaud Foundation amphitheater during the 2021 Biennale.
The new creation composed and directed by the Portuguese drummer explores the possibilities of lyrical singing, with elements of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Choir, through successive repetitions of voices and contrasts between acoustic and amplified sounds. The musical performance is accompanied by a sculpture by visual artist Vasco Futscher, with digital synthesis material by Miguel Abras and design and sound operation by Hélder Nelson.
This is the 9th in a series of 10 documentaries about 10 projects that were part of the 3rd edition of the BoCA Biennial.
