At MAAT Lisbon, the workshop with the French artist ORLAN concludes the edition of BoCA Summer School 2022

The emblematic French artist ORLAN directed the workshop “Phenomena of Society and Critical and Artistic Distance” at the MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology, the last of the BoCA Summer School 2022.

Regarding this workshop, we also invited the artist to present the public talk “THIS IS MY BODY, THIS IS MY SOFTWARE”, on the first day of the workshop. Over the course of 3 days, ORLAN developed with the participants artistic proposals related to social phenomena and aspects of her work, such as questioning social, cultural, political and religious pressures on the body and, in particular, on the female body.
