GABRIEL FERRANDINI
When releasing "Hair of the Dog", his first solo album, Gabriel Ferrandini brings to the Champalimaud Foundation's open-air amphitheater a performance that precisely reflects this state of openness to new artistic experiences: with the Gulbenkian Choir he explores the contemporaries possibilities of operatic singing, with the voices succeeding each other in successive loops (canon), raising issues of memory, traps and liberation.
ROSA. ESPINHO. DUREZA.
GABRIEL FERRANDINI
Under an invitation by BoCA, the drummer Gabriel Ferrandini conceives his first stage creation, sharing the stage with the actor Frederico Barata. “Rosa. Espinho. Dureza.” is made out of three acts: labour, sex, love. As a triptych, in which concepts and materials are interlinked, each act will have an action and object represent its respective “problem”, repeated ad nauseam, testing the persistence and concentration of the performers and the audience.
