Transactions, Boundaries and Hybrids

In contemplating her body of work, the artist and director Salomé Lamas compels the audience to explore the limiting assumptions of non-fiction cinema. In this workshop, cross-cutting themes are presented in projects of different lengths that test the apparent boundaries between cinema and the visual arts; problems are explored around the representation of memory and narrative through images, as well as fundamental, formal and technical practices of moving image.
