This is a fascinating recital composed of bodies and electronic programming. In a circle of 64 robotic percussion instruments, Australian dancers Antony Hamilton and Alisdair Macindoe perform synchronised, symmetrical, minimalist, coordinated movements. “Meeting” is a choreographic exercise reduced to the essentials, in a conversation between the compulsive choreography of Anthony Hamilton and Alisdair Macindoe’s obsession with making machines.
