LIVE STREAMING OF PERFORMANCES

Live broadcasts of short-term performances commissioned by BoCA, designed through the relational body-camera-home device. A relationship is proposed around our current state of confinement and the artistic languages ??mediated by the camera. The performances are live on the BoCA Bienal YouTube channel. Every Saturday until at least the 30th June 2020.

In an interview with Contemporânea magazine, in 2017, Pedro Barateiro said that Opening Monologue “foresees an audience, I address myself to an audience, to someone I see. I am in a moment of questioning in relation to a number of things: why science and the idea of ??progress in science, which has already evolved so much but we are still in a situation where these scientific developments can do nothing about the ecological crisis that befalls us. ” “Opening Monologue” focuses on how language is being transformed by technology.
