Given the lack of opportunities for complementary artistic training in Portugal and with the aim of enabling Portuguese and foreigner students and artists to make direct contact with artists who are a reference in the artistic territories to which they are dedicated, BoCA’s educational program continues the annual project BoCA Summer School. After a first edition of BoCA Summer School that counted on the artists Angélica Liddell (ES), Thierry De Mey (BE), Gary Hill (EUA), Salomé Lamas (PT), Eric Minh Cuong Castaing (FR), Gonçalo M. Tavares & Os Espacialistas (PT), second edition takes place again in cultural venues in Lisbon.
