OK. We can gather Lisbon’s cultural history from this century and appoint Black as one of the motors/mentors that made it become what we know today. Maybe you’ll have to investigate a little further to know his real name, but as co-founder of group Filho Único, the life of the city nowadays is what he helped create. With Tiago he formed Gala Drop before we could even call them a band, and with others he formed Príncipe and produced music Lisbon didn’t know it had. Plus, he remixed dance classics to make them more dance and edited those releases on Interzona 13. The natural flow of things led him to a step that is only logical for any one just too invested in music: being a DJ. After the fact, he sealed the deal much too quickly and the sets he delivers are authentic compositions of energy. Sweat, focus (things not compatible) and a wave of happiness that goes off into the distance.
