“1k ways to die” consolidates the collaboration between Austrian performer Florentina Holzinger and Spanish digital artist Claudia Maté. In their investigation of the relationship between performance and digital animation, they explore themes of alienation and individual identity in relation to beauty and perfection.

At BoCA, they experiment with mediation based on dualistic ideas: false versus real, banal versus sublime, hologram versus real object, artificial versus authentic, avatar versus human. The result will be a performative and visual arts event open to the public.
