ECOTEMPORANEOUS

This is the project that has brought together different personalities to think about Lisbon’s green spaces in relation to literature. Now, in an online format, each guest shares a photo of himself in a natural landscape, relating it to a book he has at home. A dialogue is established between the interior and the exterior, between the body (confined to housing and photography), nature and imagination. An informal chat via live Instagram, in which the online community is invited to participate.
Every Sunday until at least 30 June 2020.

Every Monday we launch the week’s schedule on our website and social networks. Subscribe to our newsletter and our Youtube channel to receive news first hand.

WEEK 3

Guest: Albano Jerónimo (actor and director)
Location of the photo: Douro
Selected book: “Silence in the era of noise” by Erling Kagge, Quetzal publisher

Albano Jerónimo responds to our invitation with the choice of a photograph of him looking at the Douro River, dated 2019. In relation to this image, he chose the book “Silence in the era of noise” by Erling Kagge, a meditation on the power of silence . In this personal and atmospheric book, between meditative and practical, Erling Kagge poses three questions: What is silence? Where can it be found? Why is it more important than ever?
In the 10th of May Ecotemporaneous session we will discover the relationship that Albano Jerónimo links between his photograph and the book.
